My Coffee Table : My Life

I really need a new coffee table. Mine was handed down to me by my father about seven years ago. While I really appreciated the gesture at the time I believe it's time for me to purchase my first brand new piece of furniture. This is a very important purchase for me because the coffee table is in the center of my living room which appears to be in the center of my life. I use my coffee table for everything and might even consider keeping the old one for use somewhere else. Every morning I put the paper on it and my coffee cup, sometimes my breakfast or a stack of homework I still need to get to. It has storage underneath which is perfect for my school books since I'm getting my graduate degree in business management.

Other than school I seem to use my coffee table to store my wide variety of remote controls. I have one remote for nearly everything in the house, even the coffee maker. I keep them all in an order that is known only to me on the coffee table. Some ask me why I don't have a universal remote and my answer to that is that a true friend would buy me one and program it for me since I would have no idea how to do it. So I need a coffee table that is sturdy enough to handle everything I put on it and has enough storage to contain the most important parts of my life. I need enough space on top for everything I need including my collection of remotes. First thing I'm going to do to try it out is to turn on the television with one remote, adjust the sound with another, and see what's on cable tv hd packages with the third.
